Ok, yet another question, here goes...
My first Super Cub (an LP) has been put back together, and I have my newer, uncrashed S model that is working just fine. I'm not sure if the S model has a throttle port on its receiver, but I know the LP does have one. What is a good use for this port? I assume from my testing that more juice is sent to the port the higher the throttle is on the transmitter. Could this port be used for NAV LED lights? I'm curious because I would like to keep my 4th channel open for ailerons eventually (my first attempt at flying with ailerons resulted in the need for a new S model... don't ask) and would like to know how else I could power a small light kit. I attempted to search the boards but found so many posts on the topic I didn't know where to look. Apparently the X-Port is a no go for installing LED lights.
Any advice on the throttle port, specific NAV light kits, or techniques for installing NAV lights would be appreciated.
P.S. Flydiver, if you read this, my Panic Button issue was with the wind. You were right. It works just fine when it is calm out. Thanks for the help there.
