well i finally took the cub out today,all the training (lol)indoor champ flying ,and flight sim paid off i think,four battery's later and it s still in one piece,not to say i didn't crash it,i cracked the fuse,i blame it on my knees,they where shaking so bad it made my thumb shake,,,,,,,, i dented the wing,not once but twice,and the last batt was a perfect flight,,, it was a good day,,,,,,, looking foward to my next time out

Learning to repair is as much of this Hobby as Flying, that is a lesson you learned first time out.

I got lucky on my maiden and the very heavy landing did nothing to the plane. Sounds like you weren't so lucky, but you now have better repair skills than me..
