A window of opportunity arose today before the rain comes in, so up early (ish) and off to the cricket field. Freshly mown and rolled a better airstrip would be hard to imagine. No one else there and wind about 5mph, ran out two full batteries doing figure of eights, take offs and landings. The really good part is: no mishaps at all and every take off and every landing near perfect. Never had a session like that before, will I get another like it? Hope so. Just wanted to share the pleasure.

I went back this afternoon for more excellent flying in windier conditions but had what you might call an 'incident', left the tx on car roof and drove off!! F***! Found it later with battery cover and batteries missing and dents and cracks on it but amazingly seems to work. Don't think I'll trust it though so ordered another. Every silver lining has a cloud

Is it wrong that I genuinely laughed out loud at the story about the TX?

Is it wrong that I genuinely laughed out loud at the story about the TX? No! I can laugh myself now (almost) It was quite a job finding a new tx though that wasn't fixed in Mode 2 rather than 2/4 but got one on it's way now for £34 unboxed.
