That was an interesting exercise in aircraft control. Thanks for the video. You have a rather rocky landing strip there! (Hey, just noticed - this is my 1,000th post on SCC! )

When the Video first started I saw the cub and two objects behind it...for a moment i thought it was two more Cubs....after a minute I realized it was cars on a highway...lol

Congratulations on your 1000 post! Yes Alberta has very rocky soil. Makes for some fun take offs, never knowing which way a rock may take you. I also saw the cars at a distance and mistook one for my cub in the video. I really am enjoying this low level flying, trying to compensate for the wind in turns is the hardest part for me. I enjoy pushing myself to fly out side the box of my comfort zone. I want to teach myself (somehow), to judge the distance well enough to fly though opening in the trees along some fence lines back home. I find it hard to judge distance fast enough to compensate for openings. I guess that is where our tree magnets and thing of that nature take control.I'll get there some day! lol
