Having some fun in Alberta this is Super Cub #2 , I'm here for a bit so I decided to buy the second Cub for messing around out here in the west. Still find the white hard to see but it will do for now.

Jb, that is what we in the UK call Sod's Law. Others call it Murphy's Law.
If there's just one tree in a desert, you're bound to crash your car into it. If there's just one other boat on the ocean, bet your life you'll hit it!
Sod's Law!

Well thank you for a way out of this one! Sod's law I love it!. I think my tripod is similar to the tree magnets I heard so much about! I did finally get it right after a few more tries.

Tree magnets, sods law, the tripod of doom... Whatever it is that makes it so hard to pinpoint a touchdown spot you aimed for... Its nice to know it isn't just me!
Nice video..

For me, on my maiden SC flight, someone moved a liquor store wall into my flight path when I was not looking. I swear it was not there when I started. :-)

I've not hit an obstacle yet... Yet. Only because I'm terrified of flying too low! With confidence will come evil plane grabbing scenery, I'm sure.
I have come close when my actual touch down spot is a very, very long way from the intended touch down spot though - usually due to the evil wind managing to change direction on me, just for kicks.
