Seems Dave Brown Products Lite Flite Wheels, 2-1/2 are good choice according to many on here so looked them up. In the USA they are around $5-7 in the UK £20 which is about $33. What!!!! Any UK member know a reasonable alternative?

The UK news media have often reported on the scandalous difference in prices of many items between UK and USA (usually technology like tablets, phones, TVs).
And yes, their headline is usually "Rip-off Britain".

Renard, try giantshark.co.uk for a reasonable alternative, possibly ebay, or, if you have lots of money buy a kit from hobbyking.co.uk and get the wheels as an (almost) freebie. Otherwise the wheels are 99p and postage is £7.00! (yes, HK make their money off of postage! (shock, horror!))

A helpful reply, Toff, but the original query was from Knackered Sailor, not me!

I got a set of three off eBay, only bidder was me so 99p plus £1.99 pp. Used the spray bottle inner tubing tip on here to 'bush out' for fit. Just slightly sloppy but ok. Now, if the wind and rain would just stop for a while.....
