Will this be an ok setup? Most of the park 480 motors I see have a 40a ESC. Any info would be appreciated.

There are Multiple T 28's out there with an array of set ups From Dynams KV890 Motor and 30A ESC to an FMS Brushless KV1550 and 20A ESC to Parkzones KV960 30A ESC....etc etc etc for example

It's a stock Super Cub but I changed the reciever to an AR6210 and I was to put a pz480 motor off a t28 and a eflite 30amp ESC. I see the hobbyzone calls for a 40 but I want to see if a 30 will work with a 2200mah 3s battery.

The stock T28 and PZ480 (960KV) does use a 30A ESC. Don't go bigger on the prop or you may burn it out. I don't see where HZ calls for a 40A on that motor. The higher KM model can but that is not used on the T-28.
