Hey all

Im Lowi a 38 yr old male from Manchester UK.
I fly Quadcopters currently owning a Hubsan X4 .. Blade MQX .. Blade MCPX .. Pro Flight PF450 and a Blade 350 QX with Fatshark Teleporter fpv.

On xmas day I opened a rather large present from my family which was a Hobbyzone Super Cub

That afternoon I assembled it, charged the battery and bound it to my DX6i.

Boxing day morning I woke up and it was a calm day so decided to have my maiden flight .. ive never flown an rc plane before.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and here is a video on the flight if anybody is interested.

Welcome from across the pond. I am not for sure just where Manchester actually is located. Probably up in the Northern section of Texas, huh? :-)

Flight looked good.....nice flying field....wish I had that sort of place to fly and that calm weather to go with it.

Not the case around here.....

.....And that's why the cubby is a brilliant trainer! lowi, great film. Love your flying site, you lucky beggar! For a first timer, I think you did incredibly well, good flight and safe landing...what more can you ask for! hope you've been properly appreciative to your family!!
Can't blame you for flying boxing day....it was a beautiful still day up here as well!

Welcome mate, only joined here a few weeks ago,seem a nice helpful bunch and lots of info on the site; still waiting for a calm day here in Cornwall for my first flight though.
