Just thinking - we haven't heard from Dillzio for some time now. Are you still down there in the Land of Oz, Dylan? Still flying? Still punching holes in innocent cars?

Hi mate, I just came to pop onto the forum to apologise to our English allies about the Ashes. First of all, I just wanted to say sorry about the d**n good thrashing we just dished out to your boys. We do try to show a little more hospitality to our overseas visitors, particularly from the mother country, but after such a losing streak we felt it was about time to reclaim our dignity. In terms of what I've been up to lately, unfortunately my flying days have been on hiatus. I am keen to get back into things, but since I've finished uni, and also due to recently moving house, I find I just don't have the free time lately. I suppose it's like most things in life, you have to decide it's a priority then MAKE time to do it. That's what I'll have to do, so I'll do my best to get back into the swing of things before the end of the year. I do have a new Wing Wing I finished building about 3-4 months ago and have yet to maiden so I'm pretty keen to try that baby out. Thanks for thinking of me Renard So what have you been up to? Has your cub lead you into any adventures lately? Mine seemed to on a pretty regular basis - between getting queer sms messages from strange lonely men, punching holes in cars and dealings with the fire department there was never a dull moment!

G'day, cobber, and tie me kangaroo down, sport! Great to see that you're still in the land of the living, Dyl (if one can call Oz that . . . ) Nothing much to report from up here in civilisation, mate. I haven't been flying recently, mainly because of a strange occurrence about a month ago. My beloved SC was happily doing loops on a rare windless day, in a cloudless sky, under superb pilot control . As she was recovering from a steep loop, some form of amazingly strong magnetic force dragged her down to earth at high speed. Vertically. She hit the dirt at about a trillion miles an hour, scattering parts across three counties . . . After the funeral and the memorial service, I bought all new parts to make a replacement. And, just as you have found, less important matters keep preventing me from building it. Besides which it's winter up here, and in the northern hemisphere that means wind, rain and cold, so not much incentive. I've bought my grandson an indoors helicopter with whizzy flashing lights and a built-in camera as a Christmas prezzie. I can hardly wait to open it on Christmas Day . . . As for the cricket - many of us believe it's time to stop patronising you lot, deliberately giving you an easy time. You will have such a shock if ever our team plays to win, instead of just coasting to give you a chance! Happy Christmas, Dyl, and all good wishes for 2014. I hope none of your jumbucks fall into the billabong.
