I stopped by my local HobbyTown store today to see if they had anything at all for the SC. They have a nasty habit of not ordering much to stock and it always seems to be the one part I want that they do not have. Sometimes they can surprise me though, so it is worth going over there every now and again. I have a spare fuselage and I was piddling around in thinking that it would be nice to build it and see what i could do with it. I am wanting to keep it pretty much stock though and no motor upgrades or such. This plane would be built just for lazy day flying.
Any rate, I asked the one guy there about the stock servos for the SC. He gave me a pair of PKZ1061 servos. He claimed they are the replacement ones for the SC. I have no clue and I am asking is that correct or not? When I go online though, the part # for the servo is PKZ1060 and not PKZ1061. I really hate to have to go online and pay the shipping fee for stuff they may have here, but I never know if the sales guys know what they are selling or not. Does anyone know for sure if this servo will work just fine or not?
Thanks...
On a side note about unexpected frustrations, I have my other Bixler ARF plane just about ready to fly, but they too are out of stock of the plugs for my battery and the connectors I'll be using. I can order them from Europe, but that is a heafty shipping fee for such a low cost part. Looks like both my current builds will take some time that I had not expected. No, I am not wanting to replace the current plugs with Deans on the Bix planes. Oh, well, life goes on.... :-)
