Hey Coupe, sorry about your best friend. I have 3 of them, had to put down a 16 year old golden retriever a few years ago so I share your pain.
Hang in there.

I'd be nice if I knew where you guys are located, 78 degrees mmmm sounds great to me but where? :-) Not sure sailor what your asking, or you posted in wrong thread.....78 degrees would be nice...I have not seen Temps like that in a long time.....here it is in the low 20's and at night it is in the lower Teens.....and we have snow on the ground. I live in West Virginia in the U.S......not flying weather at all..... Sorry, typing error should have started 'It'd be nice' :-) Thanks to coupe1942 for pointing out the profile click. Could be we were born in the same year mate.

I was born to a poor Southern family that had obviously traded me at birth for some fellow with long ears. I have grown to know this to be factual, as I have a natural crook in my tea cup holding finger and I do enjoy Earl Grey tea in the evening. It is no coincidence that my birth day and birth year are the same as Prince Charles of England. Although I should be reclaiming my birth right, I am above all of that. My true parents shall never know just what they missed by trading me off like that as an infant. I am sure they are suffering daily in their old age for having done that. By the way, every single lie of this is the truth, I swear! :-)

lol I believe every lie, sorry word that you said except your royal birthday unless of course you are younger than you suggest, maybe another economy with the truth, Charlie's birthday being November 14, 1948. (Being an anti monarchist I had to look that up) :-) I'm not keen on Earl Grey neat but half and half with PG Tips is lovely preferably with cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.

No, 11/14/48 is indeed my birthday, just as it is Charlie's. Like say, I suspect we were swapped out at birth, but Mama never confirmed it with me. :-)

You can click on any poster's name (handle or nomer) that is up in the left, above their avatar. Their profile will likely say where they are from, if they choose to put the information in there upon joining. I am from the state of Texas, in the USA, myself. My umbilical cord at birth would not extend into the other neighboring smaller states or foreign countries. :-) I did get a thing or two done on my orange plane today. Lots to do, but I did fill some foam depressions and cuts with some Hobbylite and will have to do some touch up when finished. The weather is now in the 40's outside, but lots of ice still present and not all that cheery to go out and fly in. Mud in the fields is not warm when you go and plod through it. :-) View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentYou made have said on another post i am not sure, But what kind of paint did you use ? I read where many use a multiple array of paints. I worry foam may get eaten if one uses the wrong paint . May do some painting at some point was just curious. I like that orange.

It is the florescent paint from Ace Hardware. It is their stock brand and comes in various colors. I'd love to find some of it that can be brushed on, but no luck so far. It would make it easier to touch up those little scratches or indentations and not have to tape everything off again. I can probably spray some into the cap and then use a brush if I hurry. It is certainly bright enough to see. This paint was pretty cheap per can at Ace. It will produce some heavy overspray though, so use plastic to protect other items.
