With a day of gathering with family as Thanksgiving seems to be.
I would like to stop a moment and give Thanks First to God above and family and to the Family here on the Super Cub Club.
Hope all of you have a good time and a good meal with your loved ones and hope you all stop a moment and consider and give Thanks for all you have . And do not forget to say Thank you for the joy we share on this site and the ability to fly these magnificent planes.
And...the joy of having Friends here on this site that help each of us, with that joy of flying and the joy of making mistakes and over coming them.
May God Bless each and every one of you is my prayer and hope.
And Thank each of you for all your help and guidance in this endeavor .
HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

hghost,
May you and your family have a great time together. You can buy most things and a lot of people, but you can't buy the love of a special one.
May God bless you too.
Happy days, one and all.

I trust you won't mind this old atheist sending his sincere good wishes to both of you at this time, albeit I share only your ideals, not your beliefs.
I hope you enjoy many happy hours in the loving company of friends and family. They are so important and valuable to us all.
(I always thought that Thanksgiving in the US derived from the Pilgrim Fathers giving thanks to their god for safe passage to the New World. But it seems that it is to give thanks for the harvest - similar to our UK Christian tradition of Harvest Festival, when "all is safely gathered in, e'er the winter storms begin".)

When I was stationed in Naples, Italy, my wife came over with our kids about a year later than I. One of the first things she asked of the Italian neighbors when we celebrated Thanksgiving and had invited them over for a traditional turkey dinner, was, "When do you celebrate your Thanksgiving?" We all laughed at that question and laughed even harder when Antonio, my neighbor, informed her that Plymouth Rock was a tad bit further away than the Italian pilgrims could paddle. :-)
Despite and religious beliefs or non-beliefs or any members here, I wish you all to have a good time with your family and friends and to be thankful within yourself for what you have in life. Bless you all.
