I feel bad lately that I've been ignoring my Super-Cub. But this little Wildcat is just way too much fun to fly.
I bought it as a second plane earlier this year and really just started flying it late in the spring early summer. If you get chance to pick one up or get some stick time on one, you'll know what I mean.
It's a shame that it's to be discontinued but I guess sales are sales. I ordered a back-up complete airframe just in case.

Ditto to everything you said...including buying the replacement airframe. It arrived yesterday.

I'm wondering if there's anything else I should be picking up while its still available? I've followed threads on other forums about upgrades, but it flies really well stock IMO.

Got the spare airframe in, and the P-51 BL too. I'll keep the Cub for asphalt and slow flying.

I only fly my Super Cub when I buddy-box with a student. I'm up to 3 people I have taught to fly so far. I also have my SC that I check as luggage when I get sent out of town by my employer. Looks like I'll be heading back to California in February..."CalCub" in tow.
