I just got the albatros! I've been eying this one up since July and finally feel accomplished enough to handle her.
I read the 187 pages of posts on rcgroups devoted to this WWI biplane and am quite impressed.
I've yet to see any members up here who have this one, but I'd like to hear some opinions on it or meet a fellow interested in getting one. I'm sure I'll have plenty to report in the following days as I put her together and maiden her.
Seems like tis the season for hangar expansion.

Hello there Robert ,i have or had the alby ,it flys way different from the se5a with ailerons on the top wing only .Its a nice flyer generally it lands nicely if you keep it in a straight line ,but be aware it has a tip stall on it, i dont know if it has something to do with the rudder being quite small and planting right on top of the elevator ,perhaps it cancels it out ,if you bank it over for a turn at lower speed i think the vertical stabilizer becomes a bit suspect , but it looks brilliant in the air
