Looking forward to this JK! Keep us informed of your build, items used, etc... Having built multiplex models before, can I recommend SC90 MG servos? Small, light, hardworking and..CHEAP! My EDF Twister worked brilliantly with them installed, and my zoomy fast EDF squall, as also does my Twinstar. Roughly a dollar more expensive than the nylon versions ( well, here in the UK anyway!), but no stress at all on them. Brilliant!

JK,
A little off topic, but I like the advice given by the little cube ornament on your window sill. Pray often. Great advice.

JK, A little off topic, but I like the advice given by the little cube ornament on your window sill. Pray often. Great advice. Man have you got a great eye for details! I follow that advice, especially at times like just now when I decided to inventory all the little parts bags, separate and organize them and account for each against the instruction sheet. I know, what real man reads the instructions? Normally, I would have dived right in and started glueing, but there are so many small parts in this kit I didn't want to come up missing something critical in the last stages of assembly! Anyway, put them all (and they were all there!) in a small organizer from my fishing tackle box to provide quick access.

JK,
An eye for details, yes, it has served me well in my previous employment and helped other people. But your photograph just reminded me, once again, that it is most important to turn your worries and problems over to God. I forget that sometimes, but always go back to asking and trusting in him. There is no better friend and father. The kit is looking great, please be kind enough to post your progress!
Apologies to all those that have no belief.
All the best, CH

Man does this thing look like a Monster sitting next to what is left of FrankenCub! No wonder everyone kept telling me my e-Flite Part 480 would be woefully underpowered for it! I am now ordering this motor to power it based upon many positive recommendations Turnigy SK3

Ah Renard, You old fox, I entirely agree with you. It usually leads to heated debate which does no-one any good. But, the topic of MARMITE........ now that is quite a different matter.

I totally agree. I would not be willing to post my religious views on here........oh... who is this 'god' person, anyway? And does he eat MARMITE?

Jklong,
Congratulations on a new project. It looks like you have quite a bit of enjoyment of the build ahead. Keep snapping pics so we can watch it all come together and appreciate the work you put into it.

Lots of people recommend a floor stiffener in the Fun Cub so I didn't have enough 1/8" plywood on hand. I was able to scrounge some 1/8" plexiglass from work, and it seems to weigh almost almost as plywood so I decided to cut one out of it! Besides, it will look cool having a clear floor to look at when the cowl is removed! An added advantage is the velcro sticks to the smooth plexiglass much better than to plywood. Even those who recommended plywood said to coat it with glue to give it a smooth surface for the velcro to stick to. Plywood plus glue surface will equal if not exceed the weight of my plexiglass floor! PS Those aren't scratches, just light reflections in the photo!
