At least you tried...and it did work! ( for a while at least). Good effort, and at least you're not too disheartened to want to give up. Have some MARMITE, it'll make you feel better!

Well, I salvaged the electronics and will use them in my new Multiplex Fun Cub once my wife gets done spending my spare money buying her iPhone 5c!
Can't wait to play with a bigger motor and flaps! With my Flysky radio I can control the flaps with one of the variable knobs, so infinite settings and deployment at my own pace instead of a toggle switch!

CBOR (Crashed Beyond Repair) Took off fine, needed a little more right thrust angle. Next flight wasn't behaving right, throttled back and turned to final. Too little throttle and tip stalled, really banged up and she has been through so much my heart just isn't in trying more repairs. So, new plane as soon as money permits! (had to spend what I had getting my wife and daughter new iPhone 5Cs, where are my priorities??) JK, You must stop spoiling those ladies of yours. I have found that a small gift, now and then is all that is needed to keep the devotion and attention due, forthcoming. If Lady CH wishes to use telephonic devices, then there is always the telephone in the house. If she needs to contact someone when she is out and about, then there is a telephone box in the village I believe. I sincerely hope that you get your interesting looking aircraft in the sky again soon, where it belongs. Now, gifts, why not start with a new Super Cub for your wife? If she is not interested in flying it, perhaps you might take it on?
