I know,I know, keep making another one
Just wondering, I have noticed the Hobby shops and Hobby Plane makers, either make Micro and what they
call Park flyer and Sport, Giant etc etc. BUT, what designates the Title ?
I see Designated Park Flyer as some have a 60+-50+ and even over 80+ inch Wingspan, some that have less than 20" ?
So what designates the title ?
Why I ask is as I explore the many online Hobby shops and what is being put out
I notice most are micro less than 20" inch plane to over 40+ planes.
Seems the in-between lets say 24-36 inch seems to be of very little design ?
That to me is a Park Size Plane. The Super Cub at 48 inch pushes the boundary of what I call a Park Flyer.
I have seen some Park flyers as much as 65-70-80 inch wingspan ?
I am Looking for planes in the area of 24-36 inch range that is 610 -920 mm there about anyway .
Anything under or around 920 mm or 36 inches. Prefer Under 36 inch
So far what i have found is mostly War Birds, but the High wing and such are a little harder to obtain.
I see allot of older style planes ( what i mean is an older foam material ) not the EPO we see mostly now or I see some balsa kits.
Some nice ones like the Decathlon and a few Cubs, but the wingspan always is pretty large or over that 36 inch mark.
So does anyone have the Title designation of what they call Park Flyers, Micro's or Super or Giant ? And what actually designates that Title ?
And does anyone have knowledge of planes ( High Wing )Listings that are in the 24 -36 inch category I am looking for ?
I see a few , but, not many .
And what wing span do you prefer to have. Of course we know the Cub, but would you desire a smaller wing span or larger ?
In my World and place to fly, the Cub is Large and pushes that boundary of the area I have.
The Champ is about 20 inch Wing and it is small and I have War Birds that are at the 800 mm 30-31 inch wing about the right size
but I am not good enough at flight to be good with them yet. So I am exploring some High wing planes in that category to try.
Looking for 3 Channel especially and or 4 channel planes to consider in that wing span size.
What's you take on it ?
