Although someone else suggested the use of these twist ties on the flaps to the landing gear, I thought it may be helpful to post some pics to show the appx. weight and such. My plane is supposed to be delivered today and I am excited about putting it together. As one of the first mods to it, I plan to use these twist ties and the stock rubber band to go onto the part. These twist ties are from a bread loaf and come in various sizes. I stripped off the covering for them in prepping them for potential use. Like say, I'll still use the supplied small rubber bands for the flaps, but these twisties should work well, too. It is easy to thread and wrap them, as necessary.
