What does it mean to have Travel Adjustments on a channel greater than 100%? On the DX7, on the Travel Adjust screen I can go up to 150%. On the Dual Rates screen I can go up to 125%. I'm confused about what these percentages actually refer to. Is it bad to go above 100%? Thanks!

Hey, thats a darn good question. I never ventured above 100% on my DX7.
I would take a look at what is happening mechanically with your servos.
Try a little test. Disconnect any control rods from a servo to test with - don't want to break a plane or strip any gears. Note the distance your servo arm travels at 100% - take a measurement Note the distance your servo arm travels at 110% - take a measurement
Try to see if this is making you extend beyond the mechanical capabilities of your servo travel. Also, just image what your linkage would be doing if your servo moved that far. Would the linkage move too far and then get locked into a binding position?
Perhaps the setting is there to help radio play nicely with several different types of servos. Maybe some servos require more input from the radio to reach their full range of motion.
One type of servo I can think of is landing gear (retract) servos. I think they go all the way around, right?
Careful with the testing, though. Don't want to break anything.

Sounds like a plan, thanks! On the servo monitoring screen you can see marks at 50% and 100%. I have my rates at 95% so they don't quite get to the 100% mark during normal operation. However, when I turn on the spoilerons, it goes beyond the 100% mark. It seams to work fine, but I'd like to know for sure what is going on.

I've got no idea. Might have to go to a more widely used forum to get an answer... like RCUniverse.
