Hello all . I am ordering the Super Cub this week.. Been "Flying??" RC for over a year and mostly crash a lot . I know that I should join a club and ask for help but I am sorta bashful about that ... So I am hoping that the Super cub will help.. The Question is .. Will I be able to use my Optic 6 transmitter with the "anti-crash" parts of the Super Cub or not It would be nice if I could ... Thanks so much in advance for any help you can give me , Don J..

Hi Don. Welcome to the forum. You will not be able to use ACT unless you are using the cubs TX. To be honest it seems that the Anti Crash Technology has caused more harm than good.
To use your optic 6 with the cub you would have to change rx, esc and servos.
Good to have you on-board
Regards Paul

Hello , Thanks for the reply .. I guess I will get used to the transmitter on the supercub and save the optic 6 for the other planes I have and build .. I do have a question about the anti crash device thou ... I have heard several people say the same thing.... I am wondering what these problems are One of the reasons I am getting this plane is for that device .. Can anyone tell me what the problems are with the anti crash device ? Please? I ordered mine today spent my IRS refund on it .. Not that I don't have other things that I should be using it for .. But I gotta have it .. ;D .. Thanks again for the help , Don J.

the ACT ( anti crash technology) is easily confused by light and dark colored ground cover. basically if you go from flying over grass to water, or sand it will fool it into thinking you in trouble and to to correct a problem that doesn't exist. best way is to shut it off, make sure your controls are in the outer most hole and get as high as you can before you try to turn or anything to give you some room to correct. the super cub is very forgiving so you should be ok.
