I have just got a super cub and have found a massive field to fly in. But my problem is that i got it on the strength that i can hand launch and remove the landing gear and belly land as the grass is short rough grass. Now i am afraid i can't belly land as i got mixed up with information about the mini super cub on the HH website. Could someone please tell me if i can belly land my super cub lp to start with. Thanks Niko...

It'll land just fine with the gear on. Just remember to give a little bit of 'up', just as the front wheels touch. If it noses over, it usually doesn't matter with the cub, it's as tough as old boots!

The reason i ask if i can belly land the super cub is to learn this way first then i can fix the undercarridge on and learn that way later. I am concerned about the length and bumpy grass and would belly landing be a good place to start as a new flyer...
Thanks Niko...

Short of removing one half of the wing, removing the tail feathers or the motor, there is little you cannot try out at least once to see how you like it. Like a Timex Watch commercial of olden days...It takes a licking and keeps on ticking"
