I was looking for some servos for my cub and came accross these : viphobby.com/pro_torque_servosThey say they are hs-55 compatible. Does that mean they are just as good as hs-55s? If they are, they are a steel. Anyone tried them in their cub, or any plane?

I think you would be a test pilot for these. If you want to go with a known product and dealer get the TowerPro 9gm from Heads Up. Lots of people are using these and some like them better than the HS-55's. I've got a bunch and so far so good. tinyurl.com/2mh2y8FWIW-'compatible' doesn't mean squat in terms of function and reliability, just means it fits in the same hole. fly

Thoes are even cheaper!
What makes servos cheaper? Why do people like hs-55's and not these other cheaper servos. It seems to me that there are a lot of cheaper servos that work fine too.
Thanks for the link!
