Been flying little yellow champ...had super cub ready to go but afraid it was to big and my skills would result in crash that I didn't want. All last summer that was the story. Well I gave the super cub a try and WOW I love it. Wind isn't as big a deal and I can fly it pretty good. A few trees and crashed have been along the journey but I just love it. I'm going to learn o. Here about up grades And ailerons and use this plane as my primary flyer.
So cool hap

Outstanding! My SC is one of my favorite planes. I love how slow it flies and I use it as a camera plane. Glad you got past your fear and are now enjoying this plane.

Glad you like it! Saw someone in nearby Mirfield trying to fly his cub on the football pitch. So wanted to stop, but it's a 40mph no park area. Any help or advice on the cubby, you've come to the right place! Good choice of a starter with the champ, too!

Welcome to the forum Hap. This is a great place to do your reading and research when the weather is stopping you flying. I expect you have done the few standard mods of tape on wings, saddle reinforcement, etc. Seems like you are hooked on the Cub! I wish you windless days and happy flying.

I was a little intimidated today, as my cub arrived last night. I did all the mods upon assembly, the battery box cut out, the tape, the mounting of the black box on the side, disconnected the auto crash technology, mounted larger gear wheels, and popsicle reinforced the wing mount. Took me five hours and this afternoon I felt the same fear that you did, but we got it to fly it right? So off I went and it was awesome! I look forward to going back up tomorrow afternoon and all weekend. Welcome to the forum.
