My friend just bought a cub but unfortunatly it's the same channel as mine and all the shop had in stock. We want to be able to fly together to do some combat and bomb dropping. Does anyone know if you can replace the crystals in the tx and rx? I noticed that you can replace the rx's crystal but would it screw things up? And I havent had my tx apart yet so is the rx crystal replacible? thanks

open the rx up and find out, or go to a local hobby shop, a lot of them sell super cubs

Today I asked the shop guy near my home if this is possible. He said the TX is hardwired so it cannot be changed. He said you can buy a new controler from like JR that would handle the 27 mhz crystal adn fly with that. I have a JRMax handset but it is a 72Mhz so I am outta luck there.
