Most everything is now going to the 2.4 Ghz Technology. Eliminating the old channel different frequency design that allowed interference from other devices and other transmitters.
I read across the forum did not see anyone ask this question, maybe cause they already know or no one thought of it or simply cause I have no clue so i have to ask.
With so many Brands of Transmitters and Receivers on the market, can one Transmitter for example with 2.4 Ghz ability be able to bind to another brand of a receiver...example, say a Spektrum Radio with a Dynam Receiver , so on and so forth.....?
What set up allows the binding process across different brands of equipment ? I am sure both if able would have to be the 2.4 Ghz Technology...but can any Transmitter bind with any receiver in spite of brand ?
Thanks in Advance for the info .

Nope. Although 2.4 is pretty much standard now, and the older 35/72Mhz sets are very slowly being phased out ( Don't shout at me fly! It's true!), nearly everyone has jumped aboard the 2.4 bandwagon. BUT - there is no standard 2.4 set. They are all proprietary systems. Some will work with others (Spektrum and JR, as they are the same company, as well as eflite - All use DSM2. If you, however, want Futaba, you have to buy everything futaba (which uses the FASST system). You can, however, go the cheapy route, and use ORANGE brand receivers for both DSM and FASST, which are roughly half the price or less of the branded items, and work just as well (IMO). I've had spectrum receivers crap out on me, but I still have all the orange RX's I've ever bought, and they all still work.
