How does a stock super cub handle with a 2200mah battery? The only mod I have on my super cub is heavier dubro super lite 3" wheels. I am looking for longer flight times. Whats the biggest battery I can put in before i experience diminishing returns?

The Cub is much improved with the 2200 IMO, handles better, copes with wind better and is smoother to fly. Downsides are faster landings and if you crash, much higher energy.

Bah! Even stock, your SC will love you to bits with a 2200 lipo, and, if you do it correctly, the CG wont change! Install your 2200 on the front bulkhead vertically. Small bit of foam to cut, and your battery will sit flush with the bulkhead. Please check the stock CG before this mod, but Mine didn't change. Also very important...on the stock receiver there is a jumper ( if memory serves, it's set at 1-2, this needs to be set at 2-3, at it sets the low level cutoff to 9 volts rather than 6 volts ( still not good, but better than ruining a perfectly good lipo)). If you are a newbie ( please note, this is not a bad thing. It's like driving a car. Not many people can drive a car without tuition. In this hobby, you are lucky to have someone teach you ( In my personal experience)). If you are a lone flyer, like myself, we will try to help you as best we can.... Also from personal experience, if you think of something to mod, change or try different, post on here before doing it ( EG: motors, props, ailerons, split tails, flaps, EDF and thrust vectoring (Hmmm, has anyone tried this yet?)...or even basic flying, we will try to help).
