A safe guard to measure flight time. Find out your max amp draw at WOT using a watt meter then use a formular
Mah/1000/max amp draw x 60 = minits.
Say you have a 2200 mah lipo and you did a test at WOT with a watt meter and it read 25amp. you divide the mah by 1000 then by the amps (25) then times by 60 (1 minit = 60 seconds) then thats the maximum minits you could fly at WOT . Example:
2200/1000/25x60=5.28 so that means you could fly 5mins and 30 secs at WOT. if you flew with 12.5 amp you would get 11 mins at half throttle.

This would be a MAXIMUM so you would know what not to exceed.

To put on top of that....1/2 throttle is generally about 1/4 WOT amp draw. 1/4 throttle is 1/8 Amp draw. Throw in wind to fight and the whole thing gets pretty messy.

Jeez... set your timer to 6 mins, whatever you're using. Don't fly full throttle all the time, Land, smile and recharge... What's so hard?
