I saw in excellent video that 'bloodboughtchad" posted about six simple mods his idea for reinforcing the area around the battery box, battery hatch using some plastic. I had some fairly thick yellow plastic "shims" we use at my work and decided to do the same to my cub. Here is the result of piecing together four of the shims (they were about 1/4 the size of whole opening, so I trimmed 4 of them down and secured with superglued. I drilled holes to match those of ones on the hatch that would need clearance to pass through the plastic, but for the landing gear struts I let them make their own holes as I reassembled the whole thing. And here it is after reassembling everything. Hopefully this will give a little more strength for those "novice" landings of mine! ;D
