My build eflite 480 (910kv) eflite 40 amp esc ar400 rx big wheels wing seat and battery box mod turnigy nano tec 2200 mah lipo apc 10x7 prop 9g metal gear servos
COG checked after build and its fine. maiden flght tommorow first time flying it brushless any advice?

It's all been said so many time before on here! Immediate thoughts at 0045 in the morning with Scotch on board ;D: An experienced buddy alongside is worth a ton of book learning. Remember to carry out pre-flight checks of all moveable surfaces before each flight. If possible, take off and land into wind. Take off at increasing throttle, then quickly ease back. Half throttle is usually more than enough for flying, usually much less. Go easy on the sticks, no violent movements. Imagine you are driving a car at 80 down the motorway - you wouldn't turn the wheel drastically, so treat those sticks the same way! Get high quickly - height is your friend. Don't fly too close to the ground. To climb, use the throttle (gently). As you turn, ease back slightly on the right stick to maintain height. Try to keep the wings straight while learning. Do not let her get behind you. As you land, play with the right stick (easing backwards) to keep her nose up as you gently lower her by reducing the throttle. Do not be disheartened if you crash. Almost everyone has been there, done that! It's why glue was invented . . . That'll do for now. Good luck! ;D

You have over 2x the original power. Go easy on the throttle. It will do odd things at full throttle you are not likely ready for, at least close to the ground.
I watched a buddy who had modded a plane something like that give it full throttle to take off. It shot off the ground, did a torque roll, and slammed into a thorn tree at full throttle before he could even react. I was part of the audience that stood dumbstruck with our mouths hanging open. I thought he did the roll to show off but the tree put that notion to rest. Great story.....hard on the plane, destroyed it.

WWWOOOOWWWW. I am truly made up at how well she flies..super cub really is an accurate statement,she really does handle like a dream straight as an arrow at half lick then a gradual climb at WOT. range is fantastic with full range rx and with the c/horns set at penultimate setting you really can make her dance, yet she will do the slowest of gentle turns and climbs on demand. I strongly recomend this setup for a lovely stable slowfly aircraft that can do almost infinity virt at the flick of a thumb. Truly a wolf in sheeps clothing! A full list of my setup at top of page.

Welcome to the club. I am so pleased for you that all has gone so well, long may it continue. If you can, please post a video, I am always heartened to see other chaps flying abilities, most of which are far superior to my own.

Fly, with a tear in his eye? At first, I too thought he was made of stone, however, I know that he is rather like Renard and possibly myself, stern exterior but a heart of gold. The advice is pretty close to perfection though.

Thankyou CH , I would love to but at the moment i have to use my xbox 360 for the internet and it has limits. The ability to ad pictures and videos being one but perhaps most anoying having to type using a mouse cursor one letter at a time. I am fixing my laptop at present so will be sure to do so when possible. OFF TOPIC: Had the peasure of seeing (CITY OF LINCOLN) Avro lancaster bomber accompanied by two spitfires at 25yards fire up engines and taxi onto a full power takeoff.Six rolls royce merlins really make yours hairs salute with an overwhelming proud feeling to be british. I live 15 miles away from RAF CONNINGSBY thats where they are bassed , It was to mark the 70th anaversery of the dambusters raid. I am 25 but could not imagine how scared thoose boys would have been. Guy Gibson and crew really had brass, so yes i was lucky to see that!

I thought it was only we Brits of a certain age (much more than 25 who feel our stiff upper lips trembling when we hear the old Merlin engine overhead! That wonderful drone, especially on a Spit, gets deep into your guts. As for the Dambusters - I am always amazed that Hollywood hasn't latched on to that exploit and hi-jacked it for the Yanks, as they do with so much else (Enigma and The Great Escape, for example). Dammit, Mel Gibson is the obvious shoe-in for Guy Gibson! ;D

Indeed tho i feel you may have now given them th idea . Not to worry tho the film would still be brit bassed as we all now the british RAF have the best pilots in the world. I doubt they could find an american pilot skillfull (crazy) enough to fly a lanc 60 feet off the deck with heavy flak fire and moon light as your only real source of vission, not to mention a 1 ton bomb spinning nearly 1000 rpm under the fuse with the risk of that bouncing back and taking the tail clean out. Besides mel gibson is originaly an aussie so he would be to pissed to fly. not to mention the need for a pretty big jar of MARMITE in the cockpit with you! If any nation is offended by this DONT be, yow are lucky enough to say you originated from the UK. ;D
