Pretty simple modification. I drilled out the strut mounting screw holes, and then threaded in some M4 grub screws (forget the exact length, think 20mm). The grub screws were secured with epoxy. I am using some 4mm threaded inserts as the nuts. A tiny dab of Loctite keeps them from vibrating loose but still allows removal without tools. The loops on the ends of the struts needed to be opened up a tiny bit to fit over the 4mm grub screws.

Again, very neat work. I don't think I have seen such a clean looking Cub for a long time.

Neat solution! A lot of folks use eye screws in a very similar manner, but they're even faster, as all you have to do is give them a 90 degree twist.

CH agrees with Vulpes. Great and cheap, almost free solution. FREE is a good word. Just wanted to make a new member welcome. I am absolutely sure I have not seen such a clean looking Cub for a long time. ;D
