When i Installed the Landing gear on my Cub, I noticed how the metal when resting caused the wheels to lay inward, where as the tires laid to one side and was not flat . The Tires laid so far over just the outer edge made contact with the surface .
I corrected it by bending the landing gear wire so the tires would lay more flat and more of the tread was touching the surface.
Was that a normal angle for the Cub, or was mine just bent to far from the factory ?
Again I straightened it up by bending the wire so the wheels lay more flat and touch the surface more....more tread on the ground so to speak.

the cub landing gear has a little toe in, but that does sounds like a bit to much

It was really toed in....now it sets and almost the entire tire is touching the ground.....figured the other way would cause a flip or a tumble during landing.....I know the old CUB I have was never that way.....but the way the landing wire fits into the fuselage, thought maybe something really wrong in there at first....but it was just the landing gear wire...looks 100% better now.

I think if you set it so the cub will roll freely it will fine. If you notice that it takes more power than usual to taxi around at low speed then you know there's a problem. Just giving it a push and seeing how far it rolls is another good way to tell.
