there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.....
so with that, i'll proceed to ask this :
i just bought a JR Quattro and JR R700. can i take the crystal from the JR rx and use it in the SC rx?

What mhz is the radio you bought..(eg. 27mhz,40mhz,72mhz....ect) I don't think so but I could be wrong. Also what freq is the sc you have?

hey mrmugen, sorry i dont think i explained myself properly.... what i'm wondering is can i take the crystal from the R700 rx ( 36.530 mhz ) and put it into the stock SC rx and then use my new JR Quattro radio to control the Cub? i bought the Quattro and the R700 for another plane ive been working on. i just thought it would be cool if i could use it on the Cub as well. To elaborate it would appear the R700 is on the 35MHz band ? (Australia). The stock cub is on 27MHz. You can get a different CHANNEL for the R700 in its band with a new crystal but you can't change inherit bands.
