Here is a HZ Glasair Sportsman flight filmed with a GoPro HERO3. Instead of just flight footage, I synchronized the flight to a song, which makes it more fun and a little more challenging! vimeo.com/60962312

Nice work texasrob, enjoyed the video and of course the music, looks like fun, how does it like to fly inverted? looks like a decent plane, fly good? looks smooth. Anyways good work and i am sure to check future vids, i so badly want my gopro on mine but being the hero2 she is a little heavier, gonna try it one of these days...

It flies really nicely. Very smooth. The two axis damping is cool. Once you power it up and add throttle, it switches on. From that point on, it makes little corrections to smooth out the flight. You can rock it back and forth in your hand and see the little adjustments it is making. It flies inverted very well with the stock setup (harder with the GoPro It flew pretty well with the GoPro. I had to add a few clicks of up elevator and it did not want to climb like it normally does. I only had the 15C stock LiPo in it and after about 4 minutes it was done and fairly warm. It did better with a 30C 2200 mah lipo. It handles fine, just does not want to climb like it does without the camera. I would say with the stock motor, ESC and battery, keep any flights with a GoPro short (3 or 4 minutes) and then check your battery. I am going to use this plane for FPV in the future with a .10 1250 KV brushless, 40 amp ESC and 40C LiPos, so I will keep the GoPro flights short until I put the upgrades in to handle the additional weight of FPV flying.

Hi Texasrob, Thanks for posting such a superb video, great landing, you are obviously a skilled pilot. I could not believe the amount of space you have to fly in, you Texas boys don't know how lucky you are! Really glad that you have got your boy involved in the flying, you will have great times together that neither of you will ever forget. ;D
