Hi Just found this forum and its gonna be a godsend and a good antidote to my natural ineptness. A bit about me... I hail from Gods own county in the UK - Yorkshire and have a SuperCub on order, due for delivery sometime next week. Never owned or flown an RC aircraft before, but did control line stuff with nitro and diesel motors as a kid. Learned to fly in a Cessna C172 about 20 years ago and had a bad motorcycle crash immediately after. You know that one job you have in a lifetime where you get paid oodles and do not have to do much in return? Well that went out the window as a result, as did my flying career. Always been mad about aviation; so after much messing about with Syma toy micro helis and a disastrous foray into toy 400 size helis that don't work, I decided to bite the bullet and buy something a bit more serious, that being the Cub. I have being hanging about as a guest for a day or two and have decided to bite the bullet and register. Glad to see the emphasis on this forum is fun and not rules and regulations as on some of the other RC forums I have had a peek at. Great forum guys.

Welcome aboard, hounddog. Typical Yorkshireman, I see! I hope all goes well with your first flights. Make sure you follow the wealth of good advice on this site. Flying these things without disastrous mishap is often not so easy as it first appears! Good luck, from a Soft Southerner. ;D
