Key chain camera - can'tget videos to play

I just picked up one of those key chain mini cameras. It takes pictures pretty good but every time I try to view a video I get a message that my laptop can not play the file.

I have tried every kind of video player application and nothing seems to work. Can anybody point me in the right direction so I can get to flying with my camera?

might need to update the codec? what operating system, computer stats, do you have?
