Just wanted to drop in and say a quick hello. My wife and I have had our Super Cub close to two months now. Just recently stumbled across the forum. Highly impressed with the board and they planes you all have. We're still in out learning stages, flying with an experienced friend using a buddy box. I have solo'd since and TheMrs. is progressing to it nicely.
We'll be picking up our second Cub next week along with a DX6i, no fun unless everyone has something right?
Anyway, glad to be here and I'll be busy reading the forums.

Hi from Southampton, UK, and welcome to this great community of SC addicts.
So glad to note you have the missus along! Presumably, she will understand when you "waste" money on vitally important plane parts, new motors etc . . . ;D
Good luck to you both for future flying. You are so fortunate (and wise) to have experienced help in these initial stages.

Had a great weekend out camping and flying. Spent the weekend by the lake. Made a huge gumbo for the gang we hang out with. Made three trips to the airport and flew and flew. Had to adjust TheMrs. cub a little bit. Had the hardest time trimming it out and could only think that the decals she put on the rudder were throwing off the CG. Ended up adjusting the elevator clevis about a turn and a half. Then ended up velcro-ing a penny under the cowl, that solved it She's doing great and should start shooting approach's hopefully our next time out.
Met the man the mow's the airport and found out he lives there too. He was giving a flying lesson in a helo he owns. Then found out the guys got a UH-1 and a LOACH! He was real impressed with our downsized planes.

Hello pasquale91, I also hail from the eastern side of Heaven ( sometimes referred to as Texas by outsiders). Glad you found the board, there is literally a treasure trove of information here. This site has answered questions I never knew I had, and more. Should you find yourself traveling to the metropolis of Atlanta, drop me a line, perhaps we could have a steak and a beer.

Atlanta, just south of Texarkana. Not much more than a speed limit and a Walmart, but for some reason, I like it here.

I feel the same way about Chandler. Quite a change from living in Mobile, Al. A nice quiet change.
