I just got my cub yesterday!! 22 days travelling up to Alaska....well worth the wait! I have yet to have any crashes after 10 flights, and have been able to fly her in 5 mile an hour winds with no issues. Landing on the snow is another issue. I put 3 inch tires on my cub, but even on the packed parking lot snow it bounces like a beach ball across the ruts. No damage to the fuselage or wing yet. I did break a wing support but had bought extra parts while waiting for it to arrive. Skis will be my next endeavor so I can land on snow. I reinforced the leading edge of my wing with tape, disabled ACT, and reinforced the wing saddle. Nose art, new numbers and it has been a joy to fly! Thanks all for the wonderful advice I have received! Looking forward to sub arctic flying and some navigation lights to round her off. So far no loss of power at 15 degrees F. Flight time seem about 13-15 minutes while being nice on the throttle. We shall see at below 0.....
