Ok so I saw this guy flying a cub with floats on it and now totally hooked. I have bought one and now off for my first flight...wish me luck. I am glad I found this site as there is alot of info here. looking forward to the day I can help guys like me. Live in Edmonton,AB. Canada.

Probably better to start with the stock system on land and learn to fly first while you do some reading on the floats. There are issues with learning floats, drowning electrics, and the whole power plant somewhat inadequate to handle floats reliably. There are threads in the group on all of the above.

Thank you Crashed and Burned many times, but now have a much better handle on the cub. No Floats yet Flydver...was just sayin I saw one thats what got me hooked...still very much using wheels...
