What type of oil do some of you pilots out there use to lube the gearbox bearings? I don't want to use WD-40 because that softens the plastic. Any ideas?

I use powdered graphite.

I also use a dry lube. Anything liquid or grease will attract crud and likely make it worse. The nylon gear is somewhat self lubricating.
