Different Connectors

I was chatting to the guy in my LHS and i had the option of deans connectors and in walked a guy who had a vast collection of planes, he strongly advised me to go for the 'Gold connectors' He had them on his super cub and well anyway i was sold, the guy in the LHS soldered them on for me and it now means i can use my recently purchased 8 cell battery. So far ive had a few flights on the new connectors and the response is superb and much more reliable then the tamiya connectors

I've been converting to the E-flite EC3 connectors. They're basically bullet connectors like you have, but in a plastic connector housing.

Yeh they sound similar. How are you finding them?
