Hi, I have just bought my first RC aircraft after years with RC cars. Been practicing on Phoenix V4.k. with my Cub.
She's all set up for the first flight (with some help from the lads at work)......if it would just stop raining ;D

Mornin'! Welcome to our little (global) club. All the practice on the sim will help, but it's nothing like the real thing, and you don't get the chuffed as punch feeling when it all goes right!
Sorry, can't do anything about the rain.....I've been whinging about it for the last 2 months or so.
If you can, get one of the lads to come with you on the maiden. Even if they don't fly, it's nice to have a bit of moral support.

Greetings, supercub800, and welcome to the SCC.
You are in for some exciting times with your Super Cub, should it ever stop raining. Latest forecast says that should be sometime in August 2015, for about 30 minutes, so be prepared . . . ;D
