I don't have this model, but I am seriously considering this as my 2nd plane. I spent some time looking at the Parkzone P-51D, but I was disappointed that it did not have landing gear.
Does anyone have any experienced with the Durafly or know someone who does? I'd like to know their thoughts about the stock electronics. The model I am looking at is a plug'n'fly (these kit type designations need to standardized), which to Durafly means no receiver, no transmitter. I have no problem with that, but there is no mention of the ESC and it's characteristics. By virtue of not publishing the plane manuals I am hesitant to purchase anything from HK and it's brands.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!!

I find Durafly usually well built. Bad side are the servos. Buy better servos and change the rudder and elevator ones so at least you can land if something goes wrong!
I have one Spitfire and it is designed to pull apart when crashing to not damage the EPO foam. Had very bad crashes and not apparent!

I have the Durafly 1100mm P-51. It has a 35A ESC Hobby King AZTW-35. I'm using a 3s Zippy 2200 mah 25c pack, and it works well. Lots of wires to sort out, but they are all marked well. I had no issues with the build, bought the PNP version. Using my FLYSKY TH 9X and RX with no problems. The plane is very nicely detailed, good paint, everything works as it should. Flaps work slowly as they are supposed to, and make a nice scale apearance. The battey compartment is large enough to fit a bigger pack, and I may try a 4s, or perhaps a 3s with bigger C output. The Durafly P-51 is really FMS as I have seen mentioned on other websites. All in all a very nice plane.
