Ooops - my firstvideo stinks. It looks like it was taken at the Hall of Mirrors in a huge funhourse. I'm using a keychain camera and have attached it to the bottom near the battery compartment door. I just used rubber bands to hold it tight and a wedge-shaped piece of foam to angle the camera back and down.
But I need some help here. Are the electronics in the plane interfering with the camera - the wavy problem only happens when the motor is on - or is it the more obvious thing - the motor is vibrating the camera causing this problem? Suggestions?

OK - I screwed up and didn't login first - sorry. Also I guess it wants the link to the video, not the embed code - so here it is: youtu.be/hJ_3ti3ONcs

The wavy video is due to vibration. I use the same keychain and see the same effect when the throttle is close or at max. I use 3M double-sided tape to mount my camera to the bottom of the battery box door, facing backwards. Here's one of my videos: youtu.be/Mjylw8214xM

Boy, your video looks great to me. I see a little vibration there, but nothing that approaches the waves I'm getting and it sounds like you are at or near full throttle. My camera is actually a little insulated from the battery door - I'll try it this morning with more insulation between it and the plane - and I'll do some gliding just to see if it is the motor.
The vibration would certainly seem to be the problem - now I'm starting to wonder if I have an abnormal amount of vibration - maybe prop out of balance??? I'll se ehow it goes this morning.

OK, this time I simply isolated the camera from the vibrations by sticking a chunk of soft foam between it and the bottom of the plane. Camera was g looking down and back. I'm happy with the results, though they obviously could be better I don't think they're bad for a cheap camera. youtu.be/JfDl_ZfbT-A
