I don't confess to being an expert but I have come up with some advice for people who are new to the hobby (or the cub) ;D 1.When landing on a bumpy grass runway try and fly into the wind to get as little airspeed but as much lift as possible, and never cut the motor completely as the prop will act as an air brake. 2.If you live in the uk there is nearly always wind, but if there is NO wind, then you will have to perform a faster landing which means you are more likely to suffer the indignity of flipping the plane on to it's nose in front of your mates. To combat this just buy some larger wheels, through much trial and error I have found that the Ripmax 76mm (3inch) wheels: www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/33201 have the perfect balance of low weight and large diameter. You can of course buy larger wheels but you will have to modify your landing gear to make them fit. 3.When coming in for a landing take the power down to about 10%, pull up slightly on the elevator to 'flare' the plane, and try not to use the rudder if you can because it will tilt the wings slightly which could hit the ground and flip the plane (I have taken chunks of my wing making that mistake) 4.Also try to take off as quickly as possible as the longer you are moving across the ground the higher the chance it will hit a rabbit hole and flip over. Apply full throttle immediately and half to full elevator (into the wind), it may look un-scale like but it will help. Hope this will help anyone
