Hi! Never flown an Rc plane before so this should be entertaining.
Eventually I want to mount a go pro and take video of the surf!

hey supdaddy, this is a great forum for newbies like you and me. the guys here are really helpful and active. i envy your location for video potential. a little advice... don't mount the gopro unless you get familiar with the basics first. the added weight will add some challenges to flying. i've been using a cheap key chain cam to shoot videos. i've lost one already but i can afford to loose a $20 cam as opposed to a $300 gopro. hehehhe here's my latest vid so you can see the cam quality: youtu.be/XrReFabJudw |

I bought one of the keychain cameras and an extra battery cover. To attach the keychain camera I used 3M double sided tape mounting tape. This afternoon and evening didn't have a breath of wind, but wouldn't you know it that I was unable to get out to do some flying. Hopefully tomorrow we have the same conditions. If I can get some time in tomorrow I will upload the keychain videos.
