Why would you want to pull the wing down? if you want to flatten it there is many ways to do that and renienforce it but it warps the wing if you do it this way. It also can rip the struts out or break them. not sure what your looking for by pulling the wings down???

ok, so you are looking to flatten the wing? a flattened wing reduces dihedrial ( a self righting property know in the super cub, which helps with begginer flying) which will in my opinion make the plan more squirely without alerions and hard to control. The tension on the outer part of the wing throught the tighting of the struts will make the wing break on a high G roll or when pulling out of a dive. If you want a flat wing as i said before its quite easy to do and if you renforce it correctly then you can aviod using struts heres a pic of my wing. this has a CF rod in it the length of the wing. is flattened. has dual servo alerions. and maybe when i can fly it great, ill add flaps for more fun

Nev, where in the UK are you? Must be somewhere good, it's not raining! Is your SC stock? Unmodified, with no ailerons? If so, the wing should have a 'v' shape to it (Dihedral). This is to give the plane stability in flight, and helps to make the rudder effective. It should look like this: Whereas yours appears flat - making the rudder not very effective when turning. Could you post a head-on shot as well? The tail seems to be twisted, and could cause issues..... And....how are you loading pictures into the forum? If using photobucket or similar, could you reduce the size of your pics? The photos are lovely and crisp, but they're huge! Good luck, and let us know how you get on! Chris.

You beat me to it, Chris!
How did he get those wings so bent with just his struts? Must have been a helluva strain.
