Hows it going. This is my first post. Read my story to see why I am hear.
I had bought a super cub when it first came out. It had been out maybe six months. I wanted to get into planes. So I bought it after hearing all the good things about it. Well I never flew it.. I think I put it together and put the battery in and turned the motor one time. I didn't fly it because I was concerned about the room. I didn't have a field to fly it in. So I started messing with helis for awhile. I had fun but stopped because of the extreme expense that I couldn't afford at the time.
So I dropped RC for a few years. And the Super Cub sat.
About a year and a half ago my brother talked me into getting an RC truck. I had always avoided them thinking they were too boring (this is false, at least for me). I bought a Savage XL monster truck, modified the heck out of it and still enjoy every minute of it.
Well my RC skills have improved as far as direction while driving towards and away and from side to side. I have gotten a lto better at working on things. Well I went up to the farm and stumbled across the Super Cub. I thought "Man I need to fly that thing. I found everything for it except the battery and the wing struts.
So I brought it home and wanted to find out some info about it and ended up here. MAN, I didn't know what I was missing. Some really cool stuff here. I am going to be around some.
So I am going to get it flying (I have a rule about doing more flying/driving than modding). get my skills up, and then do some sort of scale thing with it.
