Hello All, I just finished converting my stock HZ Super Cub to Brushless. I put in a set up from Heads up. a Emax BL2220/07 motor and 9x4.5 prop, a HURC 30amp ESC, a OrangeRx Receiver with satelite receiver and a 3s 2200 lipo. Still using the stock servos. but the stock plane C.G was 2.125" from the leading edge. Now its 1.875" which is a difference of .25" is this close enough or is more wight required in the tail? Thanks Alaskan Flyer

I'd put a little weight up front, and regain the original CG. Not sure how much difference the .25" would make, but it will be twitchier. I know when I repainted mine (again), I ended up using 3 AA batteries in the cowl as noseweight, just to make it flyable. The CG is just that, the center of gravity, not a good idea to mess with it too much.

Better a tad nose heavy than tail heavy. Tail heavy is twitchy and more difficult to control.

Nose heavy: Lands once, bad landing......Tail heavy, lands once.
From RCgroups, but can't find the refence.

Read answer above grasshopper. Truth is there..... 1/4 lb?!?!?!?!? Did you reinforce the tail with iron re-bar?
