As I have stated numerous time, 'flying it easy, the electrics are hard'.
This is true for almost everyone, so expect it. Doing some things to start will make a lot of difference in how well you learn this and your level of frustration as you gather information.
Since this forum and most of the important learning in this hobby are now on line I suggest you immediately start thinking of making a new bookmark folder with a lot of appropriate sub-folders. Categorize stuff you run across you want to remember.
Sometimes you get into 'one of those threads' (usually in RCGroups or Wattflyer) that go on for......ever (there are several just on the Cub-hundreds of posts). They can be mostly full of chat, not much real information after the first few pages. But if you patiently sift through them you'll find a lot of nuggets of good information. Just like you have a new bookmark system to categorize stuff, I suggest you make a new folder on your hard drive with a bunch of sub-folders appropriate to your needs. Then you can cut and paste individual bits of info you care to keep and put them in Word, or other appropriate program. Something I've learned, it's often useful to add a line with the URL and maybe even post#. If possible I like to credit people for their information when I can and I didn't think about that much when I started so I don't know where I got a lot of my info.
Start that process now and you'll soon have an information library that is relatively quick and easy to refer to. It doesn't take long to figure out that if you have a question, about 95% of the time it's pretty basic and has only been asked a few hundred times already. Digging the info out of the constant stream of chatter is frustrating and can be difficult. So, start organizing now.
