Hello All,

It has been a full year since I purchased my first Super Cub LP BNF from an e-bay seller and I must say I've had a ball. Here is what my original cub looks like now. The well worn and repaired fuselage is original. The wing is from a second cub I purchased for $50 from craigslist. It has the wing saddle and fuse box mods, has been upgraded to brushless, has an AR500 receiver and I added ailerons. It still flies great despite what it looks like.



My second Super Cub - in the background below - was constructed from the leftover fuse and a new wing. I flattened the wing and added 3 cf rods. I did the usual battery box and wing saddle mods and covered the wing and fuse with econokote cub yellow. I added ailerons, upgraded to brushless, added an AR6200 and programmed for flaperons. Just like NeCubFlyer did in his youtube videos.

The Multiplex Fun Cub was a Christmas Gift which I just got flying recently. It flies great but I keep going back to my Super Cubs.

ALso, you said that Multiplex Fun Cub flyes great but you return to other cubs, why?

Here is another picture of my yellow Hobbyzone Super Cub. I'll try to get some better pics and post them this weekend.



I guess I still keep returning to the Super Cubs because I really like flying them. The Fun Cub does take a little more time to assemble/disassemble and it needs a little more space in the car than the Super Cubs.

I'll probably sell or give the older cub to a friend's son but I plan to keep the yellow cub in my hanger. At this time, I can't imagine a time in the future when I won't have at least one Super Cub in my hanger.

But for flying, the Multiplex cub is ok? If you remove the fact that its longer to aeemble and harder to carry in car, is there something other than that you don't like?
